Look at him writhe in the spotlight he adores
Disgusting ****-quartered hind-legged animal
Sacred spit I kick my hate into you

Tell him how good he is (he loves that)

All things must pass
and I'm ok and you're ok
And we're dealin'
Oh mercy we're doing our best
and we're going to be ok
These moments are so transient
they kiss by like an evening breeze
on those hot summer nights
that needed it more than we did

Trying to hold onto wind
and we're crying when we watch it blow away

the faint suspicion of a sweet breeze caressing our backs
as we face elsewhere

The first part is a powerful indictment of self-promotion perhaps (judging by the title)? The artist laying his life and work out to be scrutinized by his adoring fans and envious enemies.
Part II I'm not so sure about - the next phase after fame maybe, where life returns to normal but the memories are still blowing around our heels?

Intriguing stuff anyway regardless of how wide of the mark my interpretations might be.
