New here, obviously?

I finished my literature degree this year and with it ended all my discussion about books.... The thought makes me pout. I'm lucky to have a mother who listens to me go on and on about books, which I'm thankful for. And a friend who reads a lot too and will talk to me for hours, unfortunately we do not really have the same taste in books.. So I thought about perhaps meeting some new people and starting some new discussions, which is what led me here.

I am not entirely sure what else to say in the introduction thread, but I hope that i'll be here long enough to make myself known without really needing to say lots here...
