Poetic Device Help Please !!

I was wondering if there is a word for the physical action of the reader of the poem in relation to the verse itself.

For example, I am reading a poem and a particular line ends in "swing" wherein the reader's eyes themselves "swing" onto the next line. Is there a word for this???

Is this reader a character in the poem? Or do you mean yourself as the reader?

If you mean the latter, then it's possible you're referring to an enjambment, where the grammatical line is incomplete at the end of the poetic line, thus forcing you not to pause and go immediately into the next line. Is that what you mean?
