of logic's pure reality.

and look for dreams within the dream.
To compromise reality,
with illusions of immortality.

The broccoli tree with jellybean leaves
is caramel coated and all alone.
The cinnamon shrub with sugary love,
longs to uproot and roam.
Together they stay to sweeten each day
for grapefruits passing them by,
that never hear their lemon-drop tears,
or laments wailed to the sky.
