But I'm searching for a missing plate in a first edition book by L.T. Meade. The book is "The Fairy Godmother" as published by W&R Chambers in 1917, with six plates by the illustrator William Rainey. The fourth plate has been torn out, and reads: Why miss, it's a real gem! However did you come by it, miss?

I know it's a long, long shot that one of you good folk has that particular book and could scan that plate for me, or someone can find that image online somewhere, but hope springs eternal :)
