Hi! My name is Carla and I'm 15 or 16 years old. I've just turned the one or the other and I keep mixing them up. It's way too late and I'm way too tired to remember which right now.

I'd love to say that I have read a wide variety of books in my childhood but the truth is my library is 80% science, languages, science fiction and graphic novels. What I don't read is fantasy and the Twilight/Angels and Demons sort of thing.

My favourite authors are Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. My favourite books (that are not by the aforementioned authors) are Brave New World, Master and Commander and the Sherlock Holmes series.

I was very fond of writing a few years ago, I even got one or two short stories published I think, from contests. Never wanted to write a full book. Someday perhaps.

By the way, I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and then I moved to many places and now I live in Cádiz, Spain. I hope to keep travelling a lot in the future and I want to study Archaeology and Biology. Now that's enough about me. I always talk way too much about myself, give too much information. See? I just did it.

I would, but they're in Spanish. I may translate one I am quite proud of. I am having a great time reading the stories by other members, though! There's a lot of talent and creativity here :)

The imaginations of people never cease to amaze me!

That is funny, Delta!

Welcome, Carla! It is a pity that I think it is against the rules to post in another language here. I'm learning Spanish, and I would welcome the opportunity to read stories in Spanish. Then I could spend time on LitNet and still claim I'm studying.

However, I bought the last Harry Potter book in Spanish, so that should keep me busy.
