I have none (well maybe one). I can say that I use lip balm maybe once or twice a year. . .if that. And the one I use is in a drawer somewhere. . .around here, but I can't remember at the moment. ;)

None for me too, except for a really dry winter day i may find some balm to put on.

I've got cherry chapstick, a thing of strawberry electro-lite gloss that my east indian friend gave me and a little jar of pink stuff that tastes really good. It tastes so good that when one of my delivery drivers got alfredo sauce in it three years ago, I just scraped the sauce out and kept it anyway. Now there's dried alfredo sauce on the lid.

I don't know why I've had the same two things of lip gloss for over four years. I've had that tasty one for over six years. I use them both pretty often. Maybe they're magical.

I HATE lipstick or anything that comes near to it, though I put on lip balm all winter. Otherwise my lips are like those photos of dried out surfaces in deserts: cracked and flaky...

I use only lipstick for weddings, and then with a layer of lip balm under it (helps against drying out :D). But, as I have a little too yellow teeth, I have to wear pink or colourless stuff. Otherwise, my teeth look even more yellow! I actually did buy a deep red one once, but that looked like a disaster. I knew afterwards why...

So, 7?

Thanks for sending me on a lipstick hunt, Papaya!

:svengo:

As it turns out, I have 5 lipsticks. Apart from one, they are all natural colours. I don't
wear many different colours (even on different occassions! :p). Usually have one light pink, one light brown as well as one of darker shades of these. I cannot stand orange shades.

I don't like lip balms as they make me feel as if my lips are coated in wax and I walk around pouting like an Angelina Jolie wanna be!

However, after realising that I have only five lipsticks, I feel I am entitled to go and buy more now!

Any favorite brands? I always go for L'Oreal (never the glossy/shiny ones, though).

I never wear lipstick or gloss, I have a sort of lip balm but it can also be used on open wounds and stuff, me and my dog both use it :)

My go to lip balm is this:

My favorite lip color is:

It's advertised as a lip stain but it's really not, it goes on pretty sheer and it doesn't feel waxy or gooey.

Can't live without lip balms during dry winter days.

Ummm... I think I have two or three lip balms. I don't use lipsticks much but I have a few shades of pink and brown. A red one is also there but I never use it.

Lip Stain is supposed to stay on longer and only come off with an oil based cleaner (like eye make up remover).

The product in the picture says it's a stain but it's really not. The color is decieving, it goes on pretty sheer. It's called Moody by Tarte.

I don't own any chapstick. I have some Vaseline left over from when my jaw was wired, cause I was unable to moisten my lips any other way.

I suppose I should throw it away, can't even be used as a sexual lubricant because it degrades latex, pshh.

Doesn't anybody worry about keeping their lips kissably soft?

That's what the collagen lip injections are for. ;)

Interesting. Perhaps I'll do a cost study on the cost of Collagen vs. the money spent on balms over the same time period.
