A seeming madness freshly stirred.
His heart becomes inflamed,
his finger aimed
his voice untamed,
he roars the Holy Word .

Bereft the face of normalcy
he dwells beyond society
but aims his message back within,
at ruling king and Pharisee.

Deranged and ragged to the eye
But pure beneath the skin
A dancing girl would take his head,
in payment for her sin.

I'm not particularly well-versed in terms of Biblical texts but I'm assuming the last stanza, the best by far of the three, refers to Salome.

I love the alliteration in the line

Deranged and ragged to the eye

This is poetry that can be appreciated beyond the tight constraints of belief or non-belief. Your work seems to get better with every post.
