bubble lines
inferred by her distortion

ma

calcium secrets
every word

bubbles rise through paper like rainfall.
an ostritch

leave your thinking on the side

cots clots

laid a black egg

I'm puzzled by this poems mystery

every word
an ostritch

I inferred this to mean that everything said is head in the sand stuff.

"I inferred this to mean that everything said is head in the sand stuff."

That's right - this poem's a bit of a mystery for me; I think the dislocated and slightly mechanical language intimates the strictures and dislocations of a confined life that hides from itself, but this is a post-poem rationalisation (as I guess all interpretations are). This is a strange one.

How mysterious - absurd, almost, but the words fall so exactly that it is instead alluring.

Poems that are strange even to their creators excite me.

"Poems that are strange even to their creators excite me."

I do find this fascinating how when we write, sometimes we just cannot think of where the hell it came from! I have some poems in different female voices which is weired (I'm male) and I have posted them on my blog;

http://aspharpoetry.blogspot.com/2010/09/these-weired-poems-are-not-me-possessed.html

If anyone else has work that seems to have come from somewhere else please post on this thread so we can interrogate this strange phenomena!

Many thanks

It reads like a game of word disassociation. But I enjoyed it none the less.

Word dissociation! I do have a dissociative disorder though funnily enough!

What a strange and quite weird poem, Totally confuzzled my mind that one! Quite enriching if you ask me. :)
