I love seeing a site like this. I was wondering if you can share information on who owns it, what is the motivation or purpose, and what is in store for the future.

I started this site in 2000 as a shakespeare only site. I realized that if Shakespeare brought in 500 visitors a day, featuring a second author would bring in 1000, and so on.

Now it gets around 2 million impressions a month during the school year.

For the future I simply plan on adding more authors/books. Otherwise it should stay the same.
