Rumours running riots, through the congregation.
Old flock close antenna, so only man of cloth can get beyond it.
Juveniles lets out torment in whims, under the altar.
Pray as they are taught, ask why, now? surely this isn't god love.

Clergyman sitting quite in the office, looking at choir photo.

Youth leader sitting on hes throne, indulge it orange fizz stuff.
Thinking which holy man to remove, send out to far reach of earth.
Individuals come group, fine speak about against narrow minded faith.
Nazi on face value admit it own wrong do but still put to back of bible.

My 1st ever religion one.

I'm not sure what the final line is getting at - but up to that point I assumed it was something to do with the focus in the news on child abuse and how the Catholic church managed to cover it up.

The image of the flock closing antenna, like a colony of insects, really sticks in the mind.
