I finally found my peace
deep as the river,
wide as the planet.

Unplug, let go, retreat,
gaze on the universal beauty
smile with infinite peace.

There's little holding me here,
the foolishness of beings
who are so illusioned as to think
they're not part of the one vast infinite
is not reason to make me stay.

It's really an odd state,
to be trapped inside illusion.
They haven't seen
there are infinite levels of peace.
Infinite levels of reality,
you will never find the end.

What I know is that I'm part
of this one vast infinite reality.
Shield me from the rays of these
that lost their soul long ago.

Aimless, trackless, witless,
don't they aim for something?
They don't aim for anything.
They destroy whatever they make,
and they don't try to make anything.

There's an infinite divine being,
this universe is the mirror of his mind.
It's not my job to enlighten,
as you can see, I am not trying.

In my years I've seen the infinite -
We exist beyond time, which is the same
as infinite time.
We exist beyond space, which is the same
as infinite space.
We exist beyond beauty, which is the same
as infinite beauty.
We existe beyond love, which is the same
as infinite love.

In my years, I've seen the infinite,
but I'm not trying to enlighten.
When you see the infinite, at first you think
you should try to enlighten,
because it is so straightfoward,
simple,
obvious,
self-evident.
It is experience of your soul, your heart,
It is the experience on all levels of your being
of the oneness of existence
and its infinity.
And so you think, Yes, I must try to enlighten,
But eventually you move on;
there is no point telling humans they are divine,
telling them there's a divine peace, bliss, and power within them,
within reach, with an instant's time,
that all they have to do is give up everything they've thought,
keeping them in illusion.

So yes, I've seen the divine ground of being -
when I die, do I know what I will find?
No, I am merely this, what I know
is only the present, a clouded image of what I once saw.

Yet I have the memory of my experience of oneness,
divine union, consciousness divine -
and the strongest possible imperative to remember this,
and never to forget, or worry, or fear.

And at times -
I get a glimpse of that same old oneness,
the infinite and mine.
