Comfort

All comfort leaves
when for the first time you get hard
and need relieving.
No longer are your mothers breasts
for feeding babies
but for your father's
endless fun.
The bed where you read
of bedknobs
and broomsticks
is now a place of secrets
and secretions.
An erection unbuilt
by lego.
Some will follow.
Presidents will dip cigars,
overtime will involve
screwing over a desk.
Passer by's will be raped
Self suffocation will be a pastime.
Decisions will be made
based on how you could not
help yourself
monkey man
with the swinging dick
evolved to wear a suit
to carry a case
to use your blackberry
to write poetry.
No comfort.
Until you outlive your desire
and a piss is a sweet release.
