can any1 pls help me...wats the dark towers about?there r so many series and is the story continue from book 1 2 book 2...?

It is a rewrite in prose of Robert Browning's "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came". WHich is said to have been derived from a dream that a friend of Browning had. If you read the peom carefully, you will eventually figure out that it is a poetical journey through life, and the dar tower is the end of life. Browning put it into less than 2000 words, but King wrote several volumes of prose to do the same thing.
