Three in the Morning.

Out of sight, out of mind,
Or so they say.
I don't know,
I can't speak for somebody
Else.
I don't know what you can see.
All I know is that the very fact
You are out of sight
Is driving me
Out of my mind.

Of course, 3 in the morning for us is lunch-time for you! Thanks for reading, both of you.

Mary: You're right, my love, it IS real.

Delta: Don't worry - you were 18 once and have survived it!

But were you chauffered out
or did you have to drive yourself
and was the journey long?

Oh, all my own work, Prince. One could hardly ask the staff to help one go out of one's mind, old boy. Just not on, what!

Despite the jokes, with serious intent!

I like the way at the conclusion of this little poem how you repeat the opening lines but with a sardonic twist - a poignant piece, made more real by the title and the time you posted it

Thanks Hill. Insomnia is a curse, but not worth losing any sleep over. Strangely, normally I sleep very well, but just once in a while the old synapses start popping, and then, well, who knows.

You have to thank your insomnia for producing such a sweet lovely poem!
Many an anscient Chinese poet produced the most classic poems when they suffered from insomnia over beloved ones, bereavements, or losses!
Congratulations, Daffy!
I'm looking forward to more of your masterpieces!

Thank you Ma'am. *Removes trail-stained stetson, sweeps it to the floor in a low bow, trips over spurs, falls over.*
