my brother is really fat
he aint all that
the depth of his arse prints
belie his shallow soul
his sticky hands
are custard covered
and his podgy fingers
are perfectly sized
to squeeze through
the doughnut ring
he really is a fat git
a touch of him sends ripples
but not I may add
the raspberry ripples
he much prefers
but the great big splodge
is my brother
and I love him
deep beneath that lard
for a friend.

You have come a long way baby. from the man known for joviality alone ( which you seem to do effortlessly and in my opinion brilliantly, but never quote me) to this duck spraying himself all over these pages with his true thoughts.

An amazingly multi dimensional poem
ok, just copying from someone who copied from me. You can always ignore it if you get tired of seeing the same 5 words repeated across the board

That was powerfully written, words with real weight. If respect is possible in cyberspace, I have it for you. It's often especially moving to me when a poet, such as you did here, states his or her case boldly, without adornments or milking the conceit. A moving and graceful poem.

Oo, can we crit our own poems now as well as cut and paste? Yipee. Jerry, "you are a trend setter par excellence" (and you all have my permission to re-use that phrase as and when you see fit).

I feel the time is right to confess, that jerrybaldy is just a side project of mine. I sometimes don a plastic bald wig and get into the mind of this imaginary character of mine and write some frankly sub standard stuff, as an experiment you understand.
I hope you and the other fellow litnetters will not take offence at my experiment.

No offence - as long as it's all for a worthy cause. It just bothers us that you spend so much time posting comments to yourself and then replying to them. Perhaps you need to speak to someone else who can help you come to terms with your problem. There must be a cure - a daffyectomy perhaps, or something less painful..... like sensory deprivation (same as spending a weekend in Swindon I'm reliably informed).

Swindon? Hill, you are a cruel man. We could even do that to me....er....Jerry, whom I have never met and do not know, I wasn't even there, I've never heard of 'im, Officer.
