The distance between us is like
you are a river,
and I'm a cloud.
When you flow into the open arms
of the ocean,
all I can do is
adore your sweet gurgle
over a little pebble!

I just do not know how you keep producing these gorgeous little love-poems, I really don't! The contrast between the cloud and the river is so stark, and I wonder if it contrasts emotions? That's anothe reason I love your work, it doesn't hit you in the face, it sneaks in to the psyche. Beautiful!

The classic Chinese poems never hit readers in the face;
they just sneak in to their psyche and heart as you said!
