I Should Wear a Smile

I woke up to a thundershower
early this morning.
Summer heat has finally given way to autumn chill!
I keep telling myself I should wear a smile
on my face
especially when birds are singing,
flowers are still in bloom.

My dear,
Do you happen to see one in your place?
I'm able to walk in the rain without an umbrella,
but I don't think I can manage to go out
without a smile!
