My dear,
in the morning
I woke up to find the roselle
in my garden
wear myriad white and pale yellow flowers
in her hair.
The slight flowery aroma reminds me
of your fragrance.
If you were here with me at this moment
to appreciate her charms,
I wonder
whether I could keep my eyes off her
or you!

Again a very good poem from our very own Angli. Simple and charming. I liked it!

A delightful piece angli
BUT I must take issue with your Americanised use of 'off of her' - a horrible phrase. In the English language one can never be 'off of' something - 'off her' will suffice - I blame all these damn rednecks.

Thanks, Adi, for taking the time to read and comment on my scribbling.
Wish you well!

Thanks, Hillwalker, for the kind words.
And please don't get angry with the different uses of AE and EE!
When we can't change it, simply accept it!
Both are acceptible!
