Moving on Together

Off in the distance I see a light,
Closer it comes and closer yet,
Now engulfing me, so bright.
Clearly I can see nature abounding
With love for all, Giraffe so tall,
And me so small.

I found you in the light
And together we walk.
It is healing, this togetherness.
We laugh and cry and talk-
As we give the nurturing we need
To move forward with our lives.
