It’s drizzling again,
and
I'm thinking of you.
Your shoulder-length silky hair,
blowing in the air,
conjures up an autumn of falling leaves.
Romantic raindrops kiss you gently
on the dewy eyes,
rolling down the rosy cheeks
like pearls.
Poetic rain accompanies us
all the way home;
stepping on your misty shadow
in the falling leaves
I am drunk over and over again.

What a lovely, romantic little piece of work. Sounds very much like loves' young dream. Thanks for that one!

Thanks, Daffy, for your kind words!
Btw, I like your avartar. You look like an over-five-star general!

Thank you - it was actually playing the part of a Victorian policeman!! (And I'm sorry, but the moustache is false.)

As ever lovely piece sir. Actually it is exactly the same in Indian Movies, the way you described, the so-called heroine does the same during a song in the movie. Excellent piece. 1 small q, is that last line a twist? I couldn't comprehend it in any way.

the "poetic rain"
this poem evokes me falling warm drops in a hot summer - great romantic piece!

Ang, Ang, Ang. Hope the flower sales continue to flourish. Your poems of love continue to flow through this site and I for one would not want to change that.

Wow... so romantic, so poetic, so lovely. The last stanza is the best esp. the phrase "poetic rain". Wish you enjoy many "poetic rains".

Thanks, Adit, for the lovely feedback.
The way Indian Movies prevent a romantic and poetic scene is much the same here!
Have you ever been drunk or in love?
If you're sounded by the romantic rain and poetic falling leaves, you'll sure feel drunk with the one you love!

Thanks, Jerry, for keep patronizing my floral shop and romanticism.
Without you, I'm closing my store sooner than later!
