I read different threads
in the 'I wanna kill myself' forums
from the same cut
the coats of many colours
all leading to Rome
you all flock together
but none of you bond
you're all so damn unique
yet you sing the same song
the dance of death

I feel so happy
while your life is crap
you can't understand
where my life is at
please be sensitive
to my perpetual need
to smile, laugh, dance

be patient my friend
it may disappear
but until that time
don't whine that I'm happy
take your pills
and have some wine
toast my right
to live rather than survive
and I will be glad
to leave you alone

just like you asked
you can lick your wounds
nurse your pain
fight off the hounds
shout at me
resent me
slap me for being there
cry for my attention
tell me to get lost
swallow your own soul
whatever it takes

but let me stay
undepressed

Oh quit wallowing in your happiness :D
Damning and fine and straight from the heart.

Perfectly.

Ye prophets of doom, we are not on your side.
A thing that might help you. It's called suicide.
We don't wish you ill, as I'm sure that you'd hope
But if you should need it, I just bought a rope.

One does what one can. I won't express any serious opinions, though! Somebody'd kill me.

Hi, Delta,
I respect you that you still have such powerful and emotional reactions!
Life is never a bed of roses for everyone!
In life, nine of ten things don't go the way we want them to!
We may well be pessimistic!
That's why I admire optimistic people like you more!

thanks Ang. it was one hell of a journey to get here!

Yeah, but you sound good on it, now! Anybody that can write that well is very fortunate, at least in one respect!

isn't that the irony though? to become the person you are today, one has to have such experiences. Who would we be if they never happened?

Probably boring, but possibly happier! I think like many, you get your teeth kicked down your throat so many times that you just sort of vomit them back. and they stick back in place - till the next time!

Bitter experience. However, it makes you more honest with yourself and others, because you learn to value it, and you learn to value those to whom you are closest. Regardless of gender, age, status. Great leveller, suffering.

We are the product of our pasts. Good or bad they made us into the bloody marvelous individuals we are today.

better if you praise yourself as you roll happily in your own muck and still come up smelling of roses

i like your poem very much. Its simple, yet heartfelt. Ending words are my heart's weakness, and I have to say that the last three lines are such perfection. I love this. I always like things that allow me to see a place I didn't think I could see, understand or imagine. This really does this for me.

lallison, thank you so much for your touching review.
