what does a moment
feel like?
dial up connection
waiting for a bus
a knife at your throat
watching water boil
downloading love songs
losing a phone number
waiting for the loo
checking out a lie
cleaning up dog poo
peeling potatoes
sitting on hold
just how long does a moment take?

I love this for its simplicity - yet it provokes so many thoughts.

A question that has surely occurred to many of us. I admire the examples you provide.

What an inspired way of reminding us how much time in our lives just float by, achieving very very little. A neat little poem - although I am getting worried about the frequent references to poo!

I have a bout of gastro. It comes from taking a sickie. God ensures I remain honest!

magic moments ;)
I learnt something interesting about hours a while back. There is practically no chance you will live one million of them :)

gosh, what science did they use to measure that statistic?

Well my sausage , a million hours = over 114 years and there is nobody currently alive who has reached 115 (verifiably)

Ah, but I'm working on it!

see this is where time becomes relative. On the premise that 1 moment = less than 1 hour, it is possible to have a million moments
