I can't seem to find any credible literature on deja vu. I'm looking for something which incorporates both the neuroscientific and the psychological aspects of the subject. Readability is not an issue. If you know of anything, even papers on the subject, please do share.

I'll preemptively apologize because i see this post as not being very helpful but.... Within the last 5 years Scientific American magazine has published at least one article on Deja Vu. I thought it was pretty good though not particularly long or exhaustive. The thrust was that essentially as with every experience there is a neural correlate. Thus there is a neural correlate for the feeling of familiarity which is tripped when something is in fact familiar. Deja vu is what occurs when that familiarity switch is tripped without a valid ectal stimulus.

I think you can go on their website and search old articles.

Thanks, will do.

But I'm specifically looks for books with extensive material on the subject. I'm wondering if books on schizophrenia will have something to say about this?
