i wonder why many people take psychology class.
is it because it is about personal and social interactions that is probably interesting?
or just psychology class is like a class that is full of mysteries?
what's your opinion?

I took a few psychology classes as part of degree. It's mainly about experiments and there are lots of statistics. That kind of think is interesting if you enjoy learning about how they found things out and how reliable their findings are. But if you are interested in "personal and social interactions" you are better off reading articles on wikipedia, on the internet or in popular psychology magazines such as Psychology Today.

I took some psychology classes at university because it was a requirement. The first two were general introduction, which means familiarising myself with too many names and their theories. I studied for the exam; did very well but now I can barely remember 1/3 of what I studied.
Later on I took courses mainly on developmental psychology, which concentrated on children's development and how we learn. These were very interesting to me because they were relevant to what I was studying (education) and I could apply in my daily life.
I think many take such classes because they find the social interaction interesting (dare I say, especially the teenage girls... I know so many who would like to study psychology or become a psychologist). However, as Sleepy suggests, these classes (at least in the beginning) do little more than introducing the students to the basics of the psychology as a science so most get disappointed and drop out or change direction.

evolutionary psychology will answer many of the folks questions if they haven't had the good fortune to be analyzing the doc's lyrics...of course, there are lots of answers from the doc and his ditties...but combining the doc's work with some study of evolutionary psychology...and as a wise rube once said...THAT'S ALL THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW...
