Today I finished reading Man's Search for Meaning.

For me, it was a book about extreme pain and obscatlces and overcoming them to find a meaning in life. Viktor had gone through mroe than I probably ever will and even still found the tenacity to carry on a nd survive. I think that in the relation to my own life, i need to take a step back and realize that win the times of suffering and hardships andfromd eaths in the family to struggles and worries, to even more mundane worries and stresses, that i have the potential to overcome and become greater than my condition externally. This is esepecially true for day to day meaning, as sometimes , actually more often than not, i lose site of my meaning and purpose in life and cuaght up with the day to day routine of limodern life. i take fo r granted to he many luxuries afforded to me by the society i grew up in and realize that there is somethign deepr to life tas a result of my comofort. Instead of losign myself in alcohol, drugs, and wtv watching, i should embrace this existential vacuum that is within ime, feel it as something good, as something that is natural for all of us as being on the earth..to continue expanding and finding prupose and the will to live...wehther it be for mission, love, or in the case of Viktor, thoto endure suffering.

To take away, i will be more cognizant of my own suffering and know that it is not in vain but serves a greater purpose in my life. That my life, who i am in this current condition is not who i am but i am much greater than just this physical and psycholgoical machine but a being with choice to that can determine his own fate. and that in the scheme of a n entire lfietime, meaning and purpose are paramount to tho the signfiicance of life. That it is my repsonsiblity as me as an idnividaul the wonly type of me there is..to find meaing, MY einifniton of what meaning is.

Do you recommend this book, then? To what audience; self-help, soul-searching, what is the meaning of life? Or to the general population to be a well rounded reader?
