Another Saturday night in Rockford Illinois! Might sound boring, but the boredom was offset with anticipation of my intentions to spend a day in Chicago tomorrow.
However, all my dreams were dashed upon the discovery that Lollapalooza 2010 is taking place this weekend in the “Windy City”.
I thought Lollapalooza died out back in the 90’s!
Anyhow, I thought you might get a chuckle from this sampling of participating “band” names:
“Social Distortion”
“Slightly Stoopid”
“Gogol Bordello”
“Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros” - The name alone is tempting…but no!
“Deer Tick”
“F**k Buttons”
“Semi Precious Weapons”

“Flosstradamus”
And of course the ubiquitous “Lady Gaga”
