I need to find a collection of poems with the theme of either Dystopia (preferable) or Utopia, the poems do need to be by the same person and in a collection - so published in one book.
I have to compare these poems with two dystopian novels - I am undecided at the moment on the two novels, i was considering 1984 and Oh Brave New World but they have been done lots of times before so if anyone has any unique dystopian novels or plays, they want to suggest please do - but my main concern is the poetry to compare to the two others texts.
please give me any suggestions
Thanks

Hi, I am currently in your exactly situation. Did you find a collection of poetry in the end? If so what was it. Also, what novels did you end up doing?
Please reply ASAP, thanks :)

I don't know if you got your wish, Emmz, but T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land is widely regarded as a dystopian verse classic. You should check it out, if you're still looking.

yes the waste land is the right choice for poem. Besides the other novels which are mentioned above time machine is also another dystopia.
"The tale of 802,701 is political commentary of late Victorian England. It is a dystopia, a vision of a troubled future."

So are Brave New World and 1984.
