I haven't read the other introductions in this forum. I haven't even taken a second to really look at this forum at all. However, I thought that this would be a great site for me to start my new mission.

I am a 25 year old married, mother of two (youngest is 10 months, oldest is 2 years) and a stay at home mom. I am currently going through cancer treatments which end next April 2011.

I've decided to dedicate myself to studying books I've never read before, science experiments I haven't proven just by googling, and other self-given assignments that one would normally recieve in a school setting.

Of course my children and husband come first, but this is a task I'm setting out to do to see if I'm even capable of finishing it. When I am done, I would like to go back to college.

In the mean time, this forum seems like the perfect fit for me.

My first English Lit book I am starting with is an easy one. Homer's The Odyssey. If any of you know any great study guides for this book, that would be incredibley helpful! :)

Thank you and I look forward to this forum!

Thank you very much. I'm really looking forward to getting to know this forum well.

You seem to have a high number of posts, so I hope you don't mind if I turn to you for questions every once in a while! :)

What? Turn to the self-indulgent? If I can ever help, I happily will, but there are many on here who who know more, and are far better writers than I can dream of! You'll soon spot them, so I shan't name them! Enjoy it!
