You appear to have decided to go lockstep in rhyme. I might ask you to be bold and leave off the 's' in 'ends':
"Whose infinite value knows no end"

or, perhaps choose another line construct more apropos to end with 'ends' there.

Today we are so much driven by the desire of possessing huge money and buying luxuries with it and that is why we have this recession because we live sumptuously with our minds only on material possessions. That is why we have this recession. Let us treasure the values the poet comes up with. These are prophetic statements in this time of depression
