It must be the dusty world
That keeps me awake at night.
It must be this darkness,
That draws the attention of my sight.

It must be those crazy things,
Those crazy things don’t belong to the present
That tell me i must be awake,
Otherwise, otherwise...

Those things have yet to come,
So they can’t be.
My eyes have set the wrong aims (though),
So my present can-be’s cannot be.

The first verse starts promisingly enough, but then the poem disintegrates both in form and message after the first line of verse 2. I think you need to reconsider what you are trying to say, and look at maintaining some kind of structure that balances the rest of the poem with that opening stanza. Certainly as it stands it just falls apart into a rather incomprehensible mess.....
