After reading this book (in spanish, for the sake of reading something in spanish) I'm undecided whether I should like it or not, especially after reading this crushing review (http://www.ojosdepapel.com/Index.aspx?article=2803) (it's also en español), which mainly criticizes the author's openly commercial intention and comes to the conclusion that it isn't even worth calling a novel.
Although I was disappointed by the climax of the story and the many sub-plots that were glossed over in the end I would actually say that it is a vastly superior read to other "commercial" books, e.g. Twilight, Dan Brown's whole catalogue, and contains some memorable moments.

Any opinions?

Oh, and hi, by the way.

Hi!
I usually don't like the 'to be continued' idea. If one writes a book, one should stick to it. Shadow of the wind was great, and even though it may not have any real artistic value, I enjoyed it from page one to the very end. I think that the change of main character would make Angel's game more interesting. Also, when I was reading it, I had this feeling that the writer forced to make the dark atmosphere, but all the ideas were already presented in the first book, so he used the 'leftovers' and ruined the whole book.
