I'm Emily. I live in a rural-ish part of England and when I'm not reading I like music and visiting beautiful places with old architecture. I think that's quite boring for a teenager, but I don't care that much - writing can definitely be more fun than clubbing, no matter what anyone says. I don't really have any favourite authors, but I prefer modern classics (modern being post-1900).

So yes, hello. :smile5:

Welcome!! Am I allowed to ask what constitutes "rural-ish?"

Thanks for the welcome! Rural-ish means I can see cows and a river from my window, but not the Yorkshire moors Ted Hughes wrote about. Basically, it's a village which isn't too far from a proper town.

Think yourself fortunate! I live in the same county, where the only bits of cow we see are in Tescos, and the trees have been replaced by cooling towers and the like. Nonetheless, enjoy the Forum!!!!
