I'm a 62-year-old retired journalist, who has been an avid serious reader for about fifty-three years and a serious writer for about forty-one. I used to come on to this site a lot, but matters in the "real" world have kept me away for awhile. Now I'm free to come on to this site quite often and I mean to do just that.

Anyway, nice to meet you! Sorry I missed you before--either because you came on after me or sometimes it is easy to miss one of the posts.

Did you enjoy being a journalist? What did you write about?

For the most part I enjoyed being a journalist. I mainly wrote features and covered art and entertainment. I did some reporting which I really didn't like.
