Gravity is autumnal,
in the main,
then apples fall,
as drops of rain

It's then you draw me
near to you,
when apple trees,
their fruit eschew

The ripened fruit,
our sun-kissed love,
bow to the laws
of push and shove

If I, but briefly,
pull away,
rest gentle, love,
I'm in your sway

of push and shove'

This is one of the few poems I've seen lately that make me say Hooray for rhyme! How lovely to read the marriage of wit and tenderness.

Original and delicate, hack,
with your usual restraint and calm,
so uncommon in the situation,
and still so much in your nature...

thanks again - Bar
