Don't get me wrong: I love the birthday surveys.

It's just that one question in particular consistantly grates my cheese. It's the "which litnetters would you like to meet in real life?" question, almost always followed by the mamby-pamby response: "well golly, I'd just like to meet them all! Nope, no favourites here!"

Psh, yeah right... pussyfooting, I say!

And yet, later on in the survey when asked "why do you keep coming back to litnet?" the response is usually "the people." So, out with it. Which are the people that keep you coming back? Who's posts do you invariably read in full? Which are your favourites, really?

Mine: Basil and The Comedian.

As for me, it doesn't necessarily depend on the poster but rather on the topic when I decide to contribute to / follow a thread. Nevertheless, there are some LitNetters whose posts (and blogs) I enjoy.

To name some (in alphabetical order): Claes, Neely, Niamh, OrphanPip, Papayahed, Paulclem, qimissung, Scheherazade, The Comedian, Virgil -- among many others :)

Pendragon, Virgil, Scher, pensive, Nightshade, for starters. Basically, the entirety of the old crowd.
