Plato's Republic is one of the most whole, fulfilling philosophical writings I've ever read. Plato's approach to every philosophical issue addressed in the work brings forth such interest in the subject that you simply must keep reading. The Republic's brilliant philosophical arrangement persuades readers to question the important things and learn more about the deep, insightful philosophies that are discussed in an exceptionally rational and coherent manner in this book. It is great for curious and philosophical minds, as well as those just beginning to become interested in philosophy, questioning what is right and what is wrong, what is justice and injustice, etc.

If you have never read anything by Plato, I would recommend starting with The Allegory of the Cave, a brilliant work in The Republic. But it's also enjoyable to start from the beginning of the book and read sequentially. This is a truly important dialogue, and I hope you will immerse yourself in it if you haven't already.

Nice little review. I haven't read the Republic in a log while. It'd be nice to revisit that book.

Nice review. Definitely geared me up to read The Republic. It's a book that I've been meaning to read for a while, though I've always put it off in fear that I wouldn't understand it and thus dislike it on that reason. Seems more accessible than I thought though.
