Here as with many of your poems, I don't always follow the logic between one image and the rest, but I am swept along by the richness of this.

The images, beings are connected though, they all flow with the same concept which unites the poem

This is a fantastically vivid poem, but there was not enough meat there for me to make sense of it completely.
what's the dopey german eagle? Why the title?

The dopy german eagle is an old love...

The tittle is simple, this poem captures my emotional footprint at the beginning of summer, hence infant summer
