Death's Dance

She was called away from her slumbering dream
yet not awake nor asleep she walked in a trance
like a puppet on a string let into the dance
naked and white beneath the moons gleam.

Her lips part O in a silent scream
slender toes across the hard stones made to prance
with death's shadow she engaged in this romance
slipping under the cold rushing waters of a stream.

you have the special gift of giving romance to death.

Thank you very much, yes, that is one of the things I seek to do with many of my works.

There is such energy between the darkness of this vision and the control of the structure you employed.

It is a very elegant piece, with very dark imagery.
