The ordinary bike ride to work in the morning, including screaming blue murder at a sleepy car driver who failed to see me in spite of a bunch of lights and reflex west and stuff (honestly, a christmas tree would be less visible).

Thank you for that, BrianBean. It would be funnier if it were true, but we all know you're a slender, dapper, rather acerbic Englishman. We KNOW this, even if we've never laid eyes on you.

It might have been true once upon a time but I swapped slender and dapper for acerbic a long time ago.
However, I am not completely idle and I went for another ride on my scooter yesterday.

It's so funny Brian and it's a tough exercise indeed.

Back to healthy life. Today for dinner I made some kohlrabi salad with sea salt and olive oil.

Fit in what sense? To burst? For a king? And proper? As a butcher's dog?

Today I avoided a major vein-popping barney on the tube, which in this context is probably a bad thing, because had I allowed myself to become involved I'd be fit to be tied.

I ate a steak and drank half a bottle of South African Cabernet Sauvignon, at my father's expense. May not have done much for my waistline, but god, it was good for the soul.

I don't think I've ever drunk half a bottle of wine. But it's a good start.

Cycling - to the uni - then back home - then to work - then back home again. Maybe ten miles. not much.

Great! How many sit-push/ups do you usually do?
Just wondering...

Half-marathon today.

Now I'm sore. Remind me to train next time.

Half marathon puts me to shame.
I managed to eek out a little over three miles this morning.
Fall gives me the itch to get back on a hiking trail. Possibly tomorrow morning. We'll see.

I flipped off of our boat into the lake and tread water for a while afterwards. I should've done laps around the boat. It's so funny that nearly everyone assumes that anyone outside of a boat must be relieving themselves. I've eaten very little today otherwise. I try to bike here and there to keep myself fit and thin otherwise.

It's the time to start indoor exercises again, so I started my yoga lessons.
Last night I skipped the dinner and I ate some porridge for breakfast this morning.

I took the longer route when I walked to work today, and I climbed the stairs at work (third floor, big stairs) three times (I try to not use the elevator).

Never using the elevator, climbing stairs up and down every day, and slowly restarting push-ups. Will go back to yoga sometime soon.

I walked my son to school this morning, like I do most mornings, I don't like to work out so I just walk almost everywhere I go (it helps (or hurts) not having a car) and never use elevators.

I didn't buy that pack of cigarettes and fall off the bandwagon.
