well, This is my first time posting, and I don't usually write poems, or anything really...
I just see on the news alot, that people die of cancer, so I tried to put myself in their shoes, and try to write something to help me understand what they're feeling:

What I loved, will never be.
What I'll be, in the summer time.
Of South America to Northern sea.
I'll be gone.
I'll never see, and the worst of all, I'll never be.
There for you, when you need me.

I can explain the poem if you guys want :)

I don't think it needs much explanation and it's very poignant as it is. Welcome to the forum.

Agreed with his highness, with a second welcome. I'm curious however what the story behind this piece is. I've got my own personal interpretation (as would anyone) but I wouldn't mind hearing your reasoning.

Well, the places I chose represent the places I have not visited, but also because south america is located in the southern hemisphere and northern sea obviously being in the northern, I mean to say that in summer time I will be gone in both locations, as in, gone forever, because it's never the same season all over the world. That's basically the only individual interpretation, you can make heads or tails of the remainder of the poem if you like :)
