Aside from the few unintended typos, this piece is, must I say, a very melancholic one. Visually I see the piece as one of Van Gogh's works, with the bright bands of color fading into the undertones of its dim and stark background. Perfectly enjoyed.

As usual with yours, this piece is full of captivating imagery and language. I think this piece really catches the audience once you begin the allegory or Dusk/Dawn/Vagabond mini-narrative. I almost feel those first two stanzas belong to a different piece. But once you get into the tangible I think it lends an even greater weight to your imagery.

Thank you both :)
The narrative with the vagabond and the queens is one of my favorite creations, and also I think my best.

I was entertained by this poem. I agree that it is quite fantastical. I don't get why the vagabond is being invited into eternity if he doesn't belong there. Or is it that he doesn't think he belongs there? What is the allegorical meaning of this?

Why must it be allegorical can it not be literal ?

I am stunned of the greatness of this poem.
I mean it is more than excellent!
An outtake of beauty, or rather a bite of beauty.
It is exactly what I needed tonight!
I am so glad I have read it.
Thank you for posting it!
