Love and Doubt

Did you ever see Truth,
feel it with every atom of your being;
Did you ever see God,
and know the oneness and divinity of all things?
Once seeing Truth,
were you forced back into a body and ego;
once knowing God,
were you forced to once again believe you were separate?
Did you ever love someone,
and lose them, and your heart too,
and, happening again and again,
feel longing for Truth with your whole soul,
feeling pain where once was Love?
Have you ever believed in Love,
and felt and known you were spirit, pure love,
only to be doubted, again and again,
the very word a curse to send your soul to hell?
