So here's the thing, I've got this style of compressing MANY sentences in a single one by using connectives. Is that a good thing or a bad one because I actually HAVE difficulty NOT compressing it.

Then run with it, man!
Would it do any good to suppress what comes naturally for you?
Hemingway said that style is merely a certain, persistent awkwardness, and there's nothing wrong with that. Embrace the awkward! To be peasant about it: "if it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!"

And if you need further re-assurement to your specific case:
Count Julian by Goytisolo has entire chapters without a single period; it's some of the best prose I've ever read.

It's BAD. It's burdensome to read. If you want others to be able to follow your works, try not to use more than one or two in each sentence. Try not to have them in every sentence either.

It can be a good thing. Try to use connectives that relate one clause with the next rather than just using and's.

And I have to agree with Lumiere on what Hemingway said. You can't imagine how many writers there are whose style I've started off hating but have grown to love as I get used to reading their works. Proust for example.
