For just a moment, I took a breath and shared it with the earth.
Even though that moment was almost immeasurable, in this whole wide universe,
its existence felt like a lifetime.
That breath that meant so much and woke me up,
from the disconnected perception;
that’s what keeps me alive.
I thought that holding my breath underwater was difficult, that is, until I realized,
I hold my breath sometimes all day…
