Because it makes me feel interesting and I guess that is really my only life goal.

I did, it was wasn't my fault the cookie jar was on the table it was my understanding that they were communal cookies if I could give them back I would, as a matter of fact give me about 8 hrs.

What makes you keep coming back?
I love literature, I love discussing novels and the community here is really so friendly its almost like you feel obligated to try and write something for them to make them happy. The short Story competition lead to some of my favorite creations while the Poetry competitions always have created my favorite poems. Truly this place is fantastic. I have a busy life now a a days so I can only make breif appearances when I find the time, but I suspect I shall continue coming here for years to come.
Are you happy with the way things are here?
Of course wouldn't change a thing.
Which countries have you visited?
Live in Canada and visited the US. I am going to Venezuela next year and spending four months there... have to learn Spanish.
How do you like your home town?
i have never really understand what a home town was, I grew up in 7 different towns across the vast landscape of Canada , some I have enjoyed others I have not.
If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?
I am going to be building a school in Venezuela and my fiancee will be conducting here first study there as an anthropologist, the village is a place where I know if I were to produce I would be significant and to me, that sounds like paradise.
Do you have any pets?
Yes I have a male brown tabby named Philos
What makes you happy?
Everything is enjoyable if you spend the time to focus on the positive, but if there is one thing I enjoy about all others it is debate.
What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?
Rationality/irrationality
Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism?
I am agnostic. I don't know if there is a god, and I am content with that location. I tend to find debating religion whether for or against is my of an ego debate, "Why don't you agree with me?" where I am content with no one agreeing with me.

What were your favorite things to do the past? What about now?
When I was a kid I use to play with my little push cars and create fantastic marathon races, and placed them in point positions, had racing seasons and declared an overall winner at the end, and that car got to retire on my dresser.
What makes you feel great about yourself?
My fiancee makes me feel less weird about myself that is for sure. Growing up people liked because I have an extroverted personality but nobody really got me, in every conversation I spent more time explaining then I did discussing. Making really feel alone, but she came into my life and was a trillion times smarter then I was and that made me feel fantastic. To loss an argument is a beautiful thing and only one person have been successful in doing it to me.
How did you meet your significant other?
At a party I was quite intoxicated and was trying to chat up this cute Indian girl (from India). She was was mostly ignoring me finding the movie much more interesting. I finished the conversation going for it, and asked her for a lap dance. This idea took on as much water as some might have thought, she was disgusted with me and wouldn`t look at me for the rest of the night. Latter that week we say each other on the quad and see came up and talked to me, starting tell me about her family, her program and her interests, and she kept hitting on me. So I guess I did something right, and we have been together now for 4 1/2 years.
Who inspires you most?
My grandfather. Works hard, is well read, and only has an 8th grade education. He found the love of his life and lost her to cancer and he still finds the strength to continue with complaint and an acceptance of his lot.
What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)
I am a great talker, I talk people listen, I debate and people lose. I have very little knowledge on anything but can seem an d expert on everything. That is really my only true gift i believe.
What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Live
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
it wouldn't be a subject, it would be how to critically think. It is a skill of utmost importance in this media driven world and one that is very little taught
What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
a family.
Do you feel the divine spark of life within you or do you consider yourself a mechanical thing?
I view myself more of an enigma then a fixed thing where if something goes wrong you simply change the oil and life is good again.
What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?

What is your role in an emergency situation: the 911 dialer, the person who runs to the scene to help, the video recorder, or the person too overcome by shock to do anything?
I normally am the person clearing space for the hero. A person was shot outside my home last September and my Fiancee administered first aid (she was a volunteer paramedic) while I shoed away the slim balls filming the scene on their cellphones.
What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water?

I work as a carpenter's aid to help pay from my Philosophy/Political Science degree. I will be doing my Masters in Philosophy at the end of this summer and I won't have to work because scholarships and salary are awarded to me.
What question would you like to ask yourself?
I ask myself questions all the time, but I think the one I am always asking is "Am I a Hypocrite?"

Item or person? Assuming all people were out of the house, I would let it all burn. I have very little in personal possessions and really have no attachment to the ones I have. I certainly would risk my life to save any of them.

Anything that you want to forget but you never can?
lots of things, but I try not to regret what I do. The shame I feel of my mistakes is healthy, that's how I learn. I would never take back one of my misdeeds.

I don't have any translation stories. I am sure I have made some massive gaffs in my highschool French classes but can't really claim I was aware of them.

Santa, (he's an elf right) I am mostly someone who tries to insure the joy of those around me.
What makes you laugh?
I have a dark sense of humour, but really most things make me laugh, stupidity, outrageousness, injury, the list is long and tiring.

the "al" part, I once new a man named Albert and we all called him Ally, and his mother called him Al and he we born with part of his tongue missing and I could not understand a thing that guy said.
