I need something, a hatchet.. NO! A pick! Something to break this ice. How thick is it? I can't tell. Try jumping on it.. if you slip and break your a$$ you will have succeeded.

Well, my name is Sean Seid (side), hence the name [Sea n Seid]. I've always liked to think of myself as a writer with a short attention span so I could feel good about myself for these random lines of genius that pop up in my head that I never bother to follow up on.
I'm mostly joining so I can start getting more serious about finishing my works, and to work on my style by seeing what I like and don't like about styles from a variety of sources. And I thought, "what better place than an anything goes internet forum?"
I'm 19, I'm up late, and I can guarantee I want to talk! Ready set...

Oh right! I'm a math major. So if ever you think, wow this guy... just know this isn't my day job.

Hello! This forum is full of aspiring writers, so my mom told me. I am one. I am trying to get a book published by self-publishing (I'm too impatient to go through the regular route). I have a very nice company, but I worry that my financial situation will jeopardize its chances of getting published.

A math major that is into writing...that is an odd combination--unless you are doing scientific writing. Anyway, welcome! Be sure to look at the short story and poetry forums, depending on what you are into. My mom says that is where people share their work. I haven't been yet, but I plan to eventually. It seems there is an annual contest with monetary prizes.

Haha I actually have two posts right now, one short story and one poem that I'm both very proud of, even if they are rough around the edges. I encourage you to check them out! Good luck with publishing, I don't think that I'm anywhere near that level, but getting something published is on my bucket list. P.S. my writing stems directly from my crazy personality, not my analytical math skills, so I think its semi enjoyable to the literary minded.
