Hi everybody. =) My name is Katie. I'm 18 years old. I just found this site on Google. I was looking for somewhere I could get some help with White Noise by Don DeLillo. But this site looks pretty interesting, so I'm going to try to stay active even afterwards. =)

I'm as good as can be expected, Katie.

Don't worry that your thread hasn't had any replies yet [i noticed you posted about the book you mentioned, but havn't read the book] it sometimes takes time.

Don't give up on us yet.

I hope very good is expected.

Oh, don't worry, I'm more patient than that. =] And I did get a very good reply! It was very helpful.

Welcome to the forums, Miss Owl/Katie.

I just wanted to stop by because I recognize your avatar as one that I've used, maybe two years ago... Ah, the memories... :D

I hope you have fun here.

Haha! But the octopus was frowning when you used it, right? I edited it to make him happy. xD

Hi! I'm new here too and forgot to look in this area.

I'm stressing out over studies too. This week we are learning how to code for pregnancy--which my teacher says is a nightmare. Mothers alone have three codes assigned to them--and then we have to code the baby.

I'm enjoying my studies, though...so I don't mind as much. I was expecting this course to be boring, but it wasn't. That is nice, particularly since this is training for a career.

Something really neat--kind of gross--that I learned about in this chapter. Dermoid cells! They are also called monster cells. They are cells that contain numerous tissues--hair, teeth, eyeballs, sweat glands. They can be found on your back, in your brain, on ovaries.

I like how the 18 year old girl gets all the attention! (Says the 19 year old guy with no attention in the corner)

It sometimes takes a while for your post to get replies. I find it easy to get lost on this forum. Many forums are small, so it easy to keep track of where you have been--but this one I unintentionally ignored some posts I had made because I forgot where I had went. Still learning things about this forum, being new myself.

Of course, mom says there are flirts (she's been on longer than I have).:ihih:

Uh! I forgot to check my email!
