Mostly Gibberish

I got a message earlier today and it said that I will be having visitors to look forward to in my little tin can.

“How do you feel?” the space director asked me, “you should not feel guilty, you must understand that it was not your fault. It was a horrible tragedy and we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that an accident of this nature never happens again.”

When sector four broke free and all the oxygen rushed out into open space, Don was still struggling to put on his space suit. I watched him thrash about looking for an air outlet.

I should feel saddened by the loss of his but I am not. What could I have done? There was nothing I could do to prevent his demise. I never did enjoy his company and I feel he was the kind of man if it had happened to me he would put on a sad face for just a moment and once that moment had passed I would be forgotten.

There was a lot of talk of his death. It should have never happened, they said, how horrible. I did not allow myself to wallow in self pity so as soon as a new mission was available I took it up.

You know, many people wont understand my sense of humor unless they are in my company, thats cos I often say things I dont mean.... now I know what goes through their heads. lol.

oh and btw. self-pity is a luxury none of us can afford. :thumbsup:

Break-up this density.

Give the reader some white space.

Breathing room.

Short paragraphs, even single word paragraphs.
