From where this face and body
comes to create the world
always anew

You unknown known one
have we implanted our
hungry bites
into the same apple
and drunk from the same well
water fresh

Why has your knuckle
knocked on my cobweb
misty door of glass
and now you have sunk
into the lucid silence
although words are
single evidence
of your existence

Mystifying, enigmatic, engaging. Such questions always fascinate me. I like it. These are some of primeval ideas, and of course the idea of the creation of the world.

A beautiful presentation!

Yup! I'm with blaze on this one. I really like the dreamy contemplative tone, asking the eternal question. Nice one.

It seems to echo my own recent questioning... I love your poem - and perhaps you're right: "words /might be/ the only evidence" - I'm not sure wheather of "existence" or "non existence"... while "your" is the necessary compromise...

Thank you all for your comments. My main wondering in this questioning form of poem is: is the unknown somebody known by his/her words only, someone from my world or am I lost in somebody else's world... dream... But, it can be subject for another poem.
